At Christ Church, we have a variety of different styles of worship. We seek to keep the same style at the same time each week.

All worship styles offer an opportunity
– to engage with God
– to be equipped for life
– are based on the Bible as the Word of God.

Remembrance Service

10:50am for a 10:55am start
The Act of Remembrance will start at 10:55am on Remembrance Sunday as the beginning of the later service. There will be a 2 minute silence.

Those from the 9:15 Service who would like to attend are invited to stay, and then depart during the hymn following the Act of Remembrance.

Note the earlier start of the later service.

Regular Services

8:00 am – Holy Communion: Book of Common Prayer

On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, using the 1662 prayer book service. This service is quiet and majestic.

9:15 am – Informal Worship

Modern songs led by a worship band, a style suited to a wide range of ages. ‘Seedlings’, ‘Saplings’ and ‘Buzz’ groups for children aged 0 – School Year 9

11:15 am – Reflective Worship

A reflective service of either Holy Communion or Morning Worship using modern language from Common Worship and a mixture of hymns and songs.
